John who is also a lifetime member of the Cambridge "Who's Who of Outstanding American Educators". Teaching is John's job and his passion, and he finds great reward in alumni who speak of the enrichment they experienced in his class. John is certified to educate disadvantaged children under the federal No Child Left Behind Act and has taught in a high school environment for fourteen years.  John's love for Math goes back as far as he can remember, and he once thought this affection peculiar to him. As his knowledge of the subject advanced through his college years, early teaching experience, and into adulthood, he STARTED (it is a process) to understand that Math is a foundation of the modern world. Without it, we are left to the ways of ignorance and superstition; with it, we have the tools to conquer the world and become its master rather than its servant. To students who come to THR with the expectation that it will advance their dreams, he hopes to contribute the gift of knowledge in the way it was given to him, to instill in others the love of learning in the way men such as Aristotle and Isaac Newton have done for the world, and to separate individuals from the crowd by helping to raise their scores on standardized college tests.
